Agnes Ann Tiech

Agnes Ann Tiech, 86, of Stroall Acres, died peacefully Tuesday, June 10, 2008. She was born December 8, 1921, in Roscoe, a daughter of the late Joseph and Ann Rathway Bury. She was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic of Roscoe. Survivors include a son, John P. Tiech, Jr., and wife Noreen of Fallowfield Township; two grandsons: John P. Tiech III and Christopher S. Tiech both of Fallowfield Township; one brother, Andrew G. Bury and wife Jeanette of Roscoe; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Tiech, Sr., (1972); two brothers: Joseph and John Bury; and seven sisters: Mary Litavec, Margaret Podany, Verna Letavec, Anna Palsa, Therese Morgo, Helen Safin and Sue Lenko. Friends will be received Thursday, June 12, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the ED MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES, Roscoe. Funeral service will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center.
