Anne R. (Loures) Finnen, 95, Uniontown, Pa., and formerly of California, Pa., died on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Beechwood Court, Uniontown. Born October 19, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York a daughter of James and Mary (Casey) Loures. She was a World War II United States Navy veteran and a member of American Legion in Lady Lake, Florida. Anne was Catholic by faith. She enjoyed life thoroughly and brought bright smiles to many, loved to sing, and loved by all she knew and met.
Surviving are three daughters: Kathleen (Vincent) Sena of Eastport, New York, Tara (J. P.) Stanford of Homestead, Florida, and Loures (Jeffrey) Weaver of Uniontown, Pa.; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; and dear close friends, Peter and Eleanor Petroff of California, Pa. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband Joseph Patrick Finnen on January 28, 2003; three sons, Joseph Patrick Finnen Jr., Mark Finnen, and Timothy Finnen; one daughter, Dierdre Helmley.
Per the wishes of Anne, there will not be a public visitation. Inurnment will take place at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services Inc., Roscoe, PA 15477.
