Beverly Jean Lewis

Beverly Jean Lewis, 75, of Roscoe, passed away peacefully in the Donnell House Hospice Center on Saturday, June 11, 2011. Born October 15, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Foster and Catherine Gray Endemen. A Protestant by faith, she enjoyed shopping, playing cards, and spending time with her family and friends. Left to cherish the everlasting memories of Beverly are her son, Lance H. Lewis of Palm City, Fla; granddaughters, Kiley McGrady and fiancAC., Dave Kint, of Stockdale, and Karley Thompson and husband, Joshua, of New Jersey; great-grandchildren, Addison Kasey Kint and Tank Kasey Thompson; sisters, Betsy Neil of Rancho Cucamonga, California, and Dora "Dody" Rhoades and husband, Raymond, of Roscoe; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Hubba" Lewis on April 5, 2008; a daughter, Stacy Lewis on November 20, 2010; a grandson, Robert Kasey McGrady on October 30, 2006; and a brother, Albert "Scratch" Endemen. Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 14, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, where a funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Candace Cook officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
