Carol J. Lunt

Carol Jean Lunt, 66, of Charleroi, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 26, 2008. Born December 29, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Julian and Margaret Lesnak Anderson. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and the Ladies Circle. Carol was a loving mother to a son, David Edward Lunt of Charleroi, who survives. She is also survived by two sisters, Shirley Lamendola of Virginia Beach, and Lois Virginia Massey of Cataway, N.J. as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the ED MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 825 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. The funeral home doors will be open on Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 31, at 11 a.m, with Elder James Abbott and Elder Lawrence King offficiating. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ.
