Catherine "Casey" Weight

Private funeral services were held this morning, Tuesday, January 4, for Catherine "Casey" Weight, 78, of Rostraver Twp., who passed away with her family by her side on Monday, January 3, 2011. A daughter of the late George and Mary Kudlac Calcek, she was born January 1, 1933, in Fayette City. Catherine will always be remembered as being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Kenneth, with whom she celebrated 56 years of marriage on January 3; three sons, Michael Weight and fiancAC. Angie Segiel, of Rostraver Twp., Timothy Weight, of Morgantown, WV, and Daniel Weight and wife Christy, of Rostraver Twp.; four grandchildren, Corey, Danielle, Zachary, and Rachael Weight; four brothers, Edward G. Calcek, David L. Calcek, Charles R. Calcek and Joseph J. Calcek; six sisters, Jean Yuhasz, Helen Geho, Margaret Collins, Rose Prewett, Jane Malmgren and Donna Caruso. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, William Calcek, and a grandson, Steven Weight. Arrangements were entrusted to Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Inc, 825 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. Interment was in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
