After a courageous battle with cancer, Charles T. "Chas" Pascoe Sr., 62, of Elizabeth, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, in Family Hospice & Palliative Care, Mt. Lebanon. Born June 15, 1950, in North Charleroi, he was the son of the late Warren D. and Ruth Ann (Hartman) Pascoe. A 1968 graduate of Charleroi High School he worked for 20 years as a foreman for Mathies Mine and 12 years as a sales representative for Barnes Distribution. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Elizabeth and was a member and past-Master of Free & Accepted Mason Lodge No. 583 in McKeesport. Chas lived life to the fullest and will always be remembered for his smile and his light-hearted, fun-loving personality. He enjoyed listening to music; especially the Rolling Stones, Beatles, The Band, and Bob Dylan. Left to cherish the many wonderful memories of Chas are his loving wife, Laura Lee "Toots" (Wilkinson) Pascoe; sons, Charles T. "Chas" Pascoe Jr. and wife, Michelle, and Todd Pascoe and wife, Jeanne, all of Belle Vernon; stepdaughter, Renee Rhodes Fazekas and fiancAC., Jason Besterci, of Roscoe; stepson, Jeffrey Rhodes and wife, Amy, of Liberty Boro; grandchildren, Hayden, Logan, Mason, Sage, Kai and Rylee Pascoe, Gavin Fazekas, Maya Besterci, and Hannah and Noah Rhodes; a sister, Mary Lou Lee and husband, Bill, of Speers; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Sandy Wilkinson, of Charleroi; mother-in-law, Dorothy Wilkinson, formerly of Charleroi; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Warren "Champ" Pascoe in 2001; and father-in-law, Bill Wilkinson in 2006. Friends will be received on Tuesday, Feb. 19, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., 825 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, where a Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Fr. Thomas Wagner of St. Michael's Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Chas be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205, or Family Hospice & Palliative Care, 50 Moffett St., Pittsburgh, Pa 15243.
