Daniel B. Sabo

Private services were held Wednesday for Daniel B. Sabo, 79, of Fallowfield Township, who died peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2008, in the Washington County Health Center. A son of the late Dan Jr. and Margaret Kayatin Sabo, he was born May 11, 1929, in Brownsville. Dan was an Air Force veteran who served with the 2500th Air Base Group during the Korean War. He retired from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, where he worked as a laborer. Survivors include his loving daughter, Madlyn, of Fallowfield Township; and one sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Bill Armbruster, of Bentleyville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Constance M. (Tina) Sabo. Interment was in Maple Creek Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Ed Melenyzer Funeral Homes, Inc., 825 Fallowfield Avenue, Charleroi.
