Delma A. Latour, 99, formerly of Lock 4 and Fallowfield Twp., passed away in Nevaeh Cove on Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Born March 1, 1912 in Belle Vernon, she was a daughter of the late Agenore and Soccorsa Arrigoni Agamedi. As a member of the First United Methodist Church in Charleroi, Mrs. Latour was a past president, secretary and treasurer of the Isabella Thorburn Class of Church and past chairperson of the Worship Committee. She was also past president, secretary and treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Lock 4 Volunteer Fire Company and also a past officer of the North Charleroi French Club Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by a son, Frank Latour Jr. and his wife, Ella Marie, of Roscoe; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Agamedi and Judy Agamedi; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Latour is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Latour Sr., who passed away in 1978, and her brothers, Robert, Lawrence and Alfred Agamedi. Friends will be received Friday, June 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., 1008 Furlong Avenue, Roscoe, where a funeral service will be held Saturday, June 25, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the First United Methodist Church, 601 Lincoln Avenue, Charleroi, PA 15022. The family would like to thank the staff at Nevaeh Cove for the outstanding care and compassion shown during Mrs. Latour's stay at their facility.
