Dolores Lehr

Dolores Lehr, 90, of Roscoe, died Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, at Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born March 25, 1925, in Charleroi, a daughter of John and Mary Boscan Jurak. Mrs. Lehr was Catholic by faith. Mrs. Lehr loved to cook Sunday dinners for her family, enjoyed crocheting and loved going to bingo at St. Joseph's Church and the Stockdale Fire Hall. She is survived by two sons and a daughter, Dale and Kimberly Lehr of West Newton, Dave and Cindy Lehr of Speers and Patricia Lehr of Roscoe; two sisters, Margaret D'Agorosa and Betty Bellmund both of New York; 10 grandchildren, Christian Lehr, Joseph (Georgette) Lehr, Danny and Mark Lehr, Michelle (Kyle) Shenk, Bryan Lehr, Adam (Jessica) Lehr, Josh Lehr, Steven (Brittany) Lehr and Cassie Fine; seven great-grandchildren, Connor, Evan, Merissa, Gabrialla, Zander and Noah Lehr, and Alexander Shenk; several nieces and nephews; and all of her very close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lehr on Oct. 29, 2000; a son, Daniel Lehr on Aug. 28, 2014; and 11 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, in the MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES AND CREMATION SERVICES INC., 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, where a funeral blessing will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, with the Rev. James Bump. Interment will follow at Belle Vernon Cemetery.
