Evelyn Burnside Coatsworth

Evelyn Burnside Coatsworth of Roscoe, died Tuesday January 17, 2017 at her home. Born on January 25, 1923 in Coal Center, a daughter of Gustave and Lula Rowe Coven. Evelyn was Methodist by faith. For many years she worked as a domestic housekeeper in Pittsburgh. Surviving are 3 daughters Marty Paul of Roscoe, Cathy (Joe) Gazdick of Roscoe and Lois (Jimmie) Walz of Glastenbury, CT., 1 son James Coatsworth of Dover, DE, 1 brother Lloyd Coven of Albion, PA, 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Coatsworth in 1979, a grandson Joseph Paul, 1 brother and 6 sisters. Per the wishes of the deceased, viewing and funeral services will be private. Interment will take place at Lafayette Memorial Park. Memorials in Evelyn's name may be made to SPHS Aging Services 301 Chamber Plaza, Charleroi, PA 15022 or to your local library.
