Evelyn T. Robertson

Evelyn T. Tighe Robertson, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, 85, of Roscoe, died Sunday, June 23, 2013, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born August 8, 1927, in Ridgewood, New York, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mildred Norton Tighe. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Karen (Dave) Marshall of North Charleroi, and Barbara (Dave) Koschalk of Elco; a son, Samuel (JoAnne) Robertson of Charleroi; son-in-law, Ron Zugaro of Roscoe; four grandchildren, Brian (Kim) Marshall, Heather Koschalk, Amanda (Brian) Wright and Courtney Koschalk; four great-grandchildren, Abrial and Bryleigh Wright and Chase and Hunter Kossar; two brothers, Charles and Thomas Tighe; a sister, Joan Schneider; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Robertson; daughter, Kathleen Zugaro; and sisters, Mildred Sprance and Margaret Drosendahl. She was an active member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church and a member of the United Methodist Women. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Friends will be received 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 28, in the Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Sandy Conti presiding. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
