Frank Thornhill

Surround by his loving family, Frank R. Thornhill, 58, of Long Branch, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 17, 2011. A son of the late Frank E. and Virginia Shearer Thornhill, he was born on December 28, 1952, in Kittanning, PA. Frank enjoyed being busy all of the time; whether it was riding horses, hunting, working in his wood shop, or spending time with his family. But his real passion was farming. He lived each day of his life to the fullest, never straying from the Christian values that meant so much to him. Left to cherish the many wonderful memories of Frank are his wife of 39 years, Cathy; his son and daughter-in-law, Russell "Rusty" and Margy Thornhill, of Austintown, OH; his grandchildren, Macayle and Robert Thornhill; his brother and sister-in-law, David and Gwen Thornhill; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Vickie Davis. At Frank's request there will be no visitation. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., 1008 Furlong Avenue, Roscoe.
