Grace Todd

Private funeral services were held Saturday, Jan.15, 2011, for Grace E. Todd, 99, a lifelong resident of Allenport, who passed away Jan. 5, 2011, in Poway, CA. A daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Estella (James) Biles, she was born Oct. 25, 1911, in Allenport. She was a member of the Allenport United Methodist Church. Grace was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother to her sons, Ralph Todd and wife, Dolly, and Glenn Lee Todd, all of Allenport; daughter, Donna Kaufman and husband, Norman, of Poway, CA; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her granddaughter, Bette Cass, who would make frequent trips from San Diego to visit Grace. To Grace, she was more than her granddaughter, she was her soul mate. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, who passed away Nov. 12, 1972; sisters, Ethel Smith, Mary Martin and Edith Pritchard; daughter, Shirley Ann Todd; and granddaughter, Michelle Todd. Arrangements were handled by Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., 1008 Furlong Avenue, Roscoe.
