Guillermo 'Bill' Ramos, 82, of Charleroi, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009, in Mon Valley Hospital. Born in Gregory, Texas, on April 27, 1926, he was the son of the late Pedro and Flora (Fuentes) Ramos. Proudly serving during World War II, Mr. Ramos was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the VFW and Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Charleroi. Bill is survived by two sisters, Angelita Fuentes Ramos and Lupe Acosta and husband David, of San Antonio, Texas; three brothers, Richard and Domingo Fuentes Ramos, of San Antonio, Texas, and Gregory Fuentes Ramos, of Los Angeles, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Pedro and Margarito Fuentes Ramos; and one sister, Lydia Fuentes Ramos. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at MELENYZER-DuBARR FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 825 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 3, at 11 a.m. in Full Gospel Fellowship Church with the Rev. Mel Hileman officiating. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, with military honors by American Legion Post No. 22.
