Haley Cowell

Haley Cowell 47 of Roscoe passed away on Tuesday October 29, 2024 at Penn Highlands Mon Valley with her parents at her side. Haley was born in Connellsville on September 2, 1977, a daughter of Wilfred “Hez” and Bonnie Panepinto Cowell of Roscoe. 

Haley was a graduate of California High School, received her Bachelors in psychology and her Masters in counseling in 2012, both from California University. She enjoyed spending time with her cousin and Godson Nico Manfredi and cousin Ilia Manfredi, shopping, enjoying her Ipad, and loving her four legged child Molly.

Besides her parents she is also survived by her maternal uncle and Godfather and his wife and Godmother, Frank and Hope Panepinto of Rostraver, cousins; Justin Panepinto, Brooke (Nacoma) Manfredi and their children Nico and Ilia Manfredi, Frankie (Jenna) Panepinto and their children Stella and Lena Panepinto and maternal great-aunt Louise Krutz of Bethal Park.

She was preceded in death by her sister Heather Cowell in 1981, paternal grandparents; Wilfred and Veronica Cowell, maternal grandparents; Frank and Barbara Panepinto and paternal aunt Carol Cowell.

Haley’s parents would like to give a sincere thank-you to the many area agencies that have helped through the years especially the Roscoe VFD and Ambulance & Chair, also the hospital staff at Penn Highlands Mon Valley. No words can describe our deepest gratitude to all of you.

Visitation will be held on Thursday October 31 from 2-4pm and 6-7:30pm at Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, where a blessing service will be held at 7:30pm with Rev. Gerald Mikonis officiating.
