Harold A. "Hubba" Lewis Jr., 75, of Roscoe, died Saturday, April 5, 2008. He was born November 14, 1932, in Roscoe, a son of the late Harold A. Sr. and Emily Swinhoe Lewis. Harold was Protestant by faith, a member of Roscoe American Legion Post No. 801, the Allenport Rod and Gun Club, and the Charleroi Tenth Street Athletic Club. He was a lifelong avid sports fan, having been a member of the former "All Alley Basketball Team" of Stockdale. He retired after 37 years service with Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Monessen plant and served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Harold is survived by his wife of 49 years, Beverley Endeman Lewis; two children, Stacy McGrady and Lance Harold Lewis, of Roscoe; two grandchildren, Kiley McGrady, of Stockdale, and Karley McGrady, serving with the U.S. Air Force out of New Jersey; one great-granddaughter; Addison Kint; one sister, Judy (John) Bizet, of North Carolina; one brother, Darrell Lewis, of Finleyville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister; Wanda Farkas; and a grandson, Kasey McGrady. Friends will be received in the ED MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES INC., Roscoe, on Tuesday, April 8, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the hour of service in the funeral home with Brian Carroll of the Greater Purpose Team Ministry officiating. Private interment will be in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
