Kathryn Louise Sisley

November 25, 1953 — January 5, 2022

Kathryn Louise Sisley, age 68, of Coal Center, died of COVID-19 complications on January 5, 2022. She was born November 25th, 1953 in Sutersville, a daughter of the late John H. and Violet Harenski.

Kathy is survived by her two children and four grandchildren, who made up the entirety of her world, her daughter Janelle V. Tonini and granddaughters Lily Rose Tonini and Isabella Grace Tonini of Coal Center PA, her son George (Erin) M. Sisley and grandsons Dominic W. Sisley and Liam G. Sisley of Martinez GA. Besides her children and grandchildren, Kathy is survived by her husband of 42 years, George E Sisley, her sisters Amy (Michael) Toward and Mary (Sam) Taylor and her brothers Mike (Linda) Harenski, John (Sandy) Harenski, Joseph (Linda) Harenski, her sister-in-law’s Ruth Marier, Mary (Archa) Liles, Jean Pavarnik, her brother-in-law Mark Sisley and many friends who her life has touched.

Kathy’s hobbies were managing the family business, making jewelry, crafting, and spending time with her loved ones. Kathy wasthe happiest and sweetest person anyone could ever meet. She believed that this time on earth was the start of our spiritual journey and spreading love and light is our purpose. She made the best of her time here and touched many lives along the way. Kathy valued relationships, family, faith, and making the world a better place in which she succeeded.

A service will be held at Howe United Methodist Church in Coal Center at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for prayers.
