Martha "Marcie" Povich

Martha "Marcie" Stetz Povich 91 of Carroll Twp. died Wednesday October 29, 2014 at Thorpe's Personal Care Home, Charleroi. Born March 13, 1923 in Charleroi a daughter of Theodore and Antonina Stetz. Mrs. Povich was a member of Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, Charleroi. Marcie was an avid bingo player, enjoyed bowling for many years, playing cards with her friends and loved going to the local casinos as well as her trips to Atlantic City. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are 2 daughters, Diana Weldon of N. Charleroi and Teri Piscitelli and fiance Rick Lusk of Carroll Twp., 2 sisters Julia Susko of S. Hills and Katherine Kash of Dunlevy, 3 grandchildren Patrick and wife Kristen Weldon, Wendy and husband Daniel Monahan and Alexander Piscitelli all of Carroll Twp., 3 great-grandchildren Chad Caruso, Todd Weldon and Molly Weldon. Preceded in death by her husband Thomas (Dewie) Povich, 3 brothers John, Michael and Steve Stetz, and 3 sisters Anne Domonick, Mildred Zabawsky and Helen Gialames. Visitation will be held on Sunday November 2, 2014 from 2-6pm in the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 825 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi where Parastas will be held at 4pm on Sunday. Funeral services will be private with Rev. Gregory Peterson officiating. Interment will be in Charleroi Cemetery.
