Surrounded by her loving family, Mary Gialames, 91, of Stockdale, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, in Justine's Personal Care Home. A daughter of the late Paul and Civijta Nakovich Fustar, she was born January 11, 1920, in Lilly, PA. Mary was a member of the Roscoe Presbyterian Church, American Legion Post 801 Auxiliary, the Order of the Eastern Star, and a charter member of the Stockdale Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Pete and GiGi Gialames of Pittsburgh, and Theodore "Doc" and Patricia Gialames of Dunlevy; four grandchildren, Peter Eric Gialames and wife, Kathy, Melissa Borchard, Ryan Gialames, and Brandon Gialames and wife, Christine; and 8 great-grandchildren, Ava, Mary Katherine, GiGi Mary, Theodore Alexander, John Peter, Justin, Andrew, and Aaron. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Theodore J. Gialames Sr., on Oct. 30, 1976; a daughter, Mary Ann Gialames; three brothers, Paul & Mike Foster and Peter Sinkovich; a sister, Angelica "Aunga" Kenopski; and her step-father, Charles Sinkovich. Friends will be received Friday, July 29, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., 1008 Furlong Avenue, Roscoe, where a funeral service will be held Saturday, July 30, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Candace Cook presiding. Interment will follow in Howe Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Southwestern PA Human Services (Meals on Wheels), 100 Chamber Plaza, Charleroi, PA 15022, or the Janet Rae Circle, c/o Roscoe Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 716, Roscoe, PA 15477.
