Mary A. Hornack

Mary A. Hornack, 93, formerly of Fallowfield Township, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in Country Care Manor. Born in Charleroi Feb. 5, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Pauline DiPalma Cutunilli. She was a member of Mary, Mother of The Church in Charleroi. Left to cherish her many memories are her son, Stephen E. Hornack and wife, Claudia, of Charleroi; daughter, Vivian Gray and husband, Robert, of North Charleroi; grandchildren, David Hornack and wife, Christina, of Pittsburgh, Neil Hornack and wife, Rose, of Chicago, Ill., Bob Gray and wife, Karen, of Belle Vernon, and Michele Gray of Apopka, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Anthony Bianculli, Shane, Chelsey and Karlee Cunningham, and Haley Gray; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen, in 1991; a sister, Lucy Cutunilli; and a brother, Paul Cutunilli. She was the last of her immediate family. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the MELENYZER-DuBARR FUNERAL HOMES AND CREMATION SERVICES INC., 825 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 11, at 12:30 p.m. in Mary, Mother of The Church. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Amedisys Hospice, 100 Stoops Drive, Suite 300, Monongahela, PA 15063.
