Mary Ann Zajac

Mary Ann Zajac, 90, formerly of Allenport, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 2, 2008. She was born July 16, 1917, in Monessen, a daughter of the late John and Anne Lada Zajac. She was a former member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church of Roscoe. Survivors include two sisters, Jessie Krasnicki, of Moon Township, and Stella Imbrescia, of West Newton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ceasar and Zigmund "Ziggy" Zajac; and two sisters, Bertha Kozik Lasky and Valerie "Violet" Zajac. Friends will be received Monday, Feb. 4, from 3 to 7 p.m. in the ED MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES INC., Roscoe. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's R.C. Church with the Rev. George Moneck officiating. Interment in will be in St. Hyacinth Cemetery, Monessen.
