Melvin Garrick Sr.

Melvin Garrick Sr. 77 of Monessen passed away on Sunday February 12, 2023 at Penn Highlands Mon Valley. Born in N. Charleroi on December 16, 1945, he was the son of Wilbert and Elizabeth Hess Garrick.

 Melvin was a veteran of the US Air Force and was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Allenport. He was a member of the Belle Vernon Moose, Monessen Ukrainian Club, Pricedale Russian Club and the Rosoce American Legion Post #801.

Melvin is survived 2 sons; Melvin (Karen) Garrick Jr. of West Grove, PA and Brian (Melissa) Garrick Sr. of Donora, 3 grandchildren; Brian Jr., Nicole and Samantha Garrick, 2 step-daughters; Carrie (William) Gaidos of Roscoe and Kellie Dieteman of Roscoe, 3 step-granchildren; Steven Kurty and Brett and Jacob Farquhar, a great grandchild Evelynn Garrick and his very close first cousin Tom Wright of Eighty-Four.

He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Lambert Garrick in 2013, 2 brothers; Carl and Wilbert Brian Garrick and a step grandchild Michael Keegan.
