Roger L. Wall, 60, of Roscoe, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 11, 2013, in UPMC Presbyterian. A son of the late John and Lola Coughenour Wall, he was born March 15, 1952, in Bunola. He worked for many years as a pipefitter for Sabo Machine Works in West Newton and then as a coordinator for Eastern Industrials in West Elizabeth. Roger enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Butler's Golf League. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sherryl L. Steele Wall; son, Michael Onisko of Roscoe; daughter, Brandie Wall Miller and husband, Christopher, of Pelzer, S.C.; son, Brandon L. Wall of Charleroi; daughter, Aimee McCloy of Roscoe; grandchildren, Jesse Chisholm and Becca Miller; sisters, Francis Venen of Washington, Pa., and Wanda Williams and husband, Joe, of West Elizabeth; niece, Debbie Fine and husband, Dan; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William Todd and Ronald Wall. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, in the Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes & Cremation Services INC., 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 15, with Pastor Richard E. Bowser presiding. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Roger's name be made to the National Foundation for Transplants, 5350 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119, or at www.transplants.org.
