Rose M. (Tootsie) Lutes 88 of Stockdale died Thursday June 16, 2016 at her home. Born September 4, 1927 on her family's farm in Fallowfield Twp., she was the daughter of Mike and Mary Lapushansky Molek. Rose was a member of Holy Ghost Byzantine Church in Charleroi. She was also an active member of PARC. Rose a homemaker, who in her youth worked at Corning Glass and met her husband William Lutes there. They married on Jan. 14, 1950 and were married for 63yrs until William's death on September 4, 1913. She enjoyed polka dances and watching baseball. Rose loved everyone and they in turn loved her. Just a very nice person. She will be sadly missed by the Baker, Sapko, Lutes and Molek families. Surviving are 2 sons, Mark and Gary Lutes of Stockdale, a daughter Judy (Craig) Baker of Stockdale, 2 grandchildren Dr. Jeannie (Tony) Baker Picinni of Pittsburgh, and Sarah (Tom) Baker Fess of Monongahela, and 3 great-grandchildren, Tori and Mike Flaherty and Parker Picinni, 5 sisters, Verna Molek, Margie Gibino, Patty Hellman, Judy Stringhill and Betty Miller, and 4 brothers, Joe, Frank, Johnny, and Andy Molek. Preceded in death by 2 sisters, Dolores Golomb and Lill Zundel and 2 brothers, Amos and Mok Molek. Visitation will be held on Monday June 20, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe where Panachida funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 21 at 10:00am with Rev. Christopher Burke officiating. Interment will follow at Belle Vernon Cemetery.
