Ruth Ora Bartolozzi 98 of Roscoe died Sunday August 18, 2019 at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born in Roscoe on August 9, 1921, the daughter of William and Frances Anderson Lilley.
Ruth was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel where she worked as a mail carrier. She was a member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church, the Roscoe American Legion Auxiliary Post #801, and the Eastern Star Monessen Chapter #205.
Ruth is survived by 2 nephews; Dale Lilley of Coal Center and Billy Lilley of Ohio and dear friends and caretakers; Gloria Hartley, Rene Zdravecky, Barbara O'Savage and Debra Strychalski. She was preceded in death by her husband Jordan "Duke" Bartolozzi and 2 brothers; Donald Lilley and Joseph "Ike" Dale Lilley.
Visitation will be held on Friday August 23, 2019 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm in the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe where funeral services will be held on Saturday August 24, 2019 at 10:00am with Rev. Brian Carroll officiating. Interment will follow at Monongahela Cemetery, Monongahela. Eastern Star services will be held on Friday evening in the funeral home at 7:00pm.
