Thomas P. Anielewski

Thomas P. Anielewski 62 of Elco died Tuesday August 22, 2017 after a battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia at UPMC Shadyside. Born in N. Charleroi on January 15, 1955, he was the son of Henry T. and Stella Chemlewski Anielewski. Mr. Anielewski was the owner of Tom's Garage Doors in Elco. He was a member of St. Katherine Drexel Parish, Roscoe Slovak Club,  Polish National Alliance and Allenport Rod & Gun Club. Tom was a 40 year season ticket holder for the Pittsburgh Penguins. He enjoyed spending time at the family cabin and always planning family vacations, especially cruises.

He is survived by his wife Susan Hidek Anielewski, a son Thomas P. Anielewski Jr. and fiancee Sarah Bilsky of Ross Twp., 3 daughters, Kristin Salzman of California, PA, Kimberly (Carl) Wooloff of Greensburg and Kathleen Anielewski (Calvin Kent) of Allenport; 3 granddaughters, Abigail, Cecilia and Jillian Salzman, 1 brother, David (Cheryl) Anielewski of Belle Vernon and 2 sisters; Roseann(Cliff) Biddlestone of Belle Vernon and Sylvia (Ken) Stulock of Belle Vernon. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Henry, Walter and George.

Visitation will be held on Thursday August 24, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday August 25 at 10:30 am at St. Katharine Drexel Roscoe Campus with Rev. Paul Grudenbach as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center.
