Wayne Petey Dink Henry

Wayne T. "Petey Dink" Henry 79 of Coal Center, died Sunday January 4, 2015 at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born February 11, 1935 in Coal Center, a son of Clarence and Adelaide Edward Henry. Mr. Henry was a Korean War veteran having served in the United States Navy. Retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Allenport Plant. A member of the California American Legion Post #377, California Gun Club and the California Young Men's Club. An avid fisherman, hunter and loved to play golf. Surviving are 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Cynthia Henry Jr of Monessen, Christopher and Jessica Britt Henry of Roscoe, 5 daughters and 2 sons-in-law Dawn and John Bush of Port Charlotte, Fl, Sherry Henry of Bellevue, Ohio, Michelle McCorkle of Finleyville, Christine Thompson of Elco and Stephanie and Robert McCorkle of Liberty Boro, his girlfriend Eleanor Anderson of Coal Center, 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife Judy Louka Henry in 2005. Visitation will be held on Friday January 9, 2015 from 2-8pm in the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 1008 Furlong Ave., Rosocoe. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday January 10, 2015 at 11am with Rev. Candace Cook officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. The California American Legion Post #377 will hold services in the funeral on Friday at 7pm.
